Patient & Public Involvement

Patient and public involvement (PPI) in research is research that is carried out ‘with’ or ‘by’ patients and/or members of the public rather than ‘to’, ‘about’ or ‘for’ them.

We are involving men with prostate cancer throughout the STOPCAP M1 programme to help ensure that the research is in line with the priorities of patients, as well as clinicians and researchers. The interests and concerns of patients are at the heart of this research.
